Elasta-Seal® #600 firestop installed at a slab through penetration opening. This 3 hour fire rating firestop successfully blocked fire and flames from moving from the basement onto the first floor of a Steel Plant.

Thermalastic® 83C Fire Retardant Coating applied over cable tray with grouped electrical cables. On reaction to fire the coating worked under the chemical condition of sublimation, it transited from the solid to the gas phase, hence moving oxygen away from the source of ignition, thereby inhibiting combustion processes on the vicinity of cable insulation. It prevented fire spread along the rest of the cable tray.
